This sepia-toned original oil painting of an old barn with a water wheel on a grassy landscape with cedars in the distance is hand-painted on 1 1/2 inch stretched canvas. The sides of the canvas were painted a sepia brown with raw umber oils.

Details and Materials:

-Created with Gamblin oil paints: Raw Umber, Ivory Black, and Titanium White.

-The stretched canvas was primed an additional 2 times with artist-grade gesso to ensure long-term preservation.

-Finished with a protective varnish blend of Gamvar non-yellowing varnish, cold wax medium, and Gamsol, providing a satin finish that enhances the colors without excessive gloss.

-Initialed on the front. Signed, dated, and named on the back.

Artwork comes framed and ready to hang.
