This sepia-toned original oil painting of a field of grass with cedar trees in the distance is hand-painted on a canvas board, and installed in a distressed black ornate frame. The frame was not refinished on purpose, so that it looked worn and imperfect.

Details and Materials:

-Created with Gamblin oil paints: Raw Umber, Ivory Black, and Titanium White.

-The canvas board was primed an additional two times with artist-grade gesso to ensure long-term preservation.

-Finished with a protective varnish blend of Gamvar non-yellowing varnish, cold wax medium, and Gamsol, providing a satin finish that enhances the colors without excessive gloss.

-Signed, dated, and named on the back.

Artwork comes framed and ready to hang.
